With a mission to bring great sake dining culture to Singapore, Sake Labo is a culinary-cultural concept that combines sake drinking and japas dining into a multi-faceted experience. We serve high-quality, small batch craft sake imported directly from Japanese breweries, and all our sakes are meticulously kept in negative temperatures to preserve the integrity of each sake’s flavour and aroma.
Lunch: Mon-Fri, 12pm-2.30pm (last order 2pm)
Dinner: Mon-Wed, 5pm-10.30pm | *Thurs-Sat, 5pm-8pm and 8.15pm-10.30pm

Chef Derek has worked with world-renowned chefs and set up numerous restaurants overseas throughout his career. Besides being a Resident Chef on Asian Masters 2011 & 2012, Chef Derek was also awarded Mentor Chef of the Year by At-Sunrice Global Chef Academy (2011, 2012, 2013). In 2021, he was also a finalist at the World Gourmet Summit Awards. With his culinary expertise, Sake Labo clinched the title "Best Japanese Restaurant, Casual Dining" for two years in a row (2021, 2022) at Epicurean Star Awards organised by RAS.
When Chef Derek is not behind the stove, he is photographing insects with his Olympus OMDEM1 MK3 camera.
Located at 29 Stanley Street, Sake Labo is tastefully adorned with a medley of terracotta-coloured interiors and wooden elements. It consists of a bar and mezzanine level with a curved overhead ceiling that adds depth and character to its overall ambience.
